Sage Cottage Preschool follows the Los Alamos Public Schools system calendar and closures.
We are open M-F 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with the exception of special events and school closures noted below.
Upcoming Important Dates/ Events for 2019-2020
Mother's Day school celebration: May 7, 2020
Safety Town in LA: June 2020
Father's Day school celebration: June 18, 2020
Infant/Toddler class swim days: Every Thursdays
Transition class swim days: Every Tuesdays
Swim days for students ages 3-5: Tue and Thurs (please sign up with Ms. Kim)
Pool Party @ Pinon Park Pool: End of summer 2020 - All classrooms participate
In-service Days: School closed October 24-25, 2019
Open House: TBD
Picture Day: Fall- October 9, Spring-TBD
Parent/ Family Conferences: Spring and Fall TBA
Winter Break: Dec 23 - Jan 6, 2020 (We offer option week, please see the office for more information)
Spring Break: March 23- 27, 2020
Winter Break and Spring Break: For the extended school closures, Sage Cottage Preschool will offer childcare at an additional fee to enrolled students.
Parents Night Out/ Babysitting Night: A few times a year, Sage Cottage Preschool Staff host students for special nights in while parents take a well-deserved rest. The funds from these events go to support classroom supplies and Montessori curriculum. We like to allow parents to go shopping before the Winter Holidays and another one near Valentine's Days. More information on Parents Night Outs and Spring/Winter Break Childcare is available in each classroom as these dates draw near.
